Montessori butterfly life cycle activity

Every year at Natura Montessori Academy in South Surrey, children in our Montessori daycare have the opportunity to observe the amazing butterfly life cycle.

From tiny butterfly eggs to caterpillars, chrysalises, and finally beautiful butterflies, the children witnessed every stage of the life cycle through real-life observation.

This hands-on Montessori learning experience helped the children learn about growth, transformation, patience, and the beauty of nature.
